產(chǎn)品描述：Rat Schwann cells (RSC) are key glial cells in the peripheral nervous system, supporting neurons physically and chemically. They wrap around peripheral axons, forming myelin sheaths that insulate and enhance signal conduction. RSC are crucial for axon and neuron growth, survival, and morphology. Studies suggest they facilitate neuronal restoration and spinal cord regeneration. When an axon is damaged, surrounding Schwann cells aid in its clearance, creating a pathway for new axon growth. The population of Schwann cells is tightly regulated, and growth factors like PDGF, FGF, and neuregulin promote their proliferation.
